I know how to reach people in a way that resonates. My approach to communications draws on the things in life we all have in common, inspiring people, in a real and honest way, to notice, understand, and take action.

My mantra: Respond, don't react.

Successful communication is simple, drawing on the experiential, involving a layered, holistic approach that infuses a variety of ingredients ranging from humor to common interests to sense making.

My business sense, knowledge base, and writing abilities are informed by my professional experience in Ohio politics, corporate-level retail, franchise communications and marketing, small business, consulting, event logistics, community activity, graphic design, copywriting, online content, newsletter design, pet care, running a farmers' market, and a degree program in communications at The Ohio State University (Go Bucks!).
